DIY Felt Hair Bow Clips

This is probably the most ridiculously easy DIY you will ever see/do. I make these a lot for all my friends' little girls, because, well, because I can. They're so cheap and cute and on those days when you're just like, "GAH I need to do something crafty right this second!" It takes about 1 minute and BAM, cuteness for the masses!

Also, being at the ripe ol' age of 6 days away from 22, I just dont think me walking around with child-sized bows in my hair is something I should do on the regular. Sooooo I make them for the little people of the world instead.

There's approximately 1 million and 1 ways to get the exact finished product, but this is how I do it:

Gather all the supplies needed, I got everything here from Hobby Lobby for super cheap! Any craft store should carry similar items as well

To start, cut a long straight(use a ruler if you need to) strip of felt, about 1-2 inches thick. This is all preference, make them as wide or narrow as you'd like.
Fold the strip in half, matching the top to the bottom
Simply push down the top of the loop, until you get the bows the size you want them to be.

You can play around with how far you push down, for different sizes
once youve decided how big you want the bows to be, pinch the middle together.
Grab your hot glue gun, and put 1 dot right where you want the pinch to be.

This set is optional, but cut a tinier strip to cover the pinch in your bow, you can choose a different color for fun.

Wrap the strip of felt around the pinch and glue underneath

Next, grab your alligator clip, or the barrette of your choice
and put a line of glue on the TOP of it
Press it to the seam of your pinch cover(or whatever its called) on the bottom

Aaaaaand VOILA.
Make as many different sizes and color varieties as your little heart desires!
