Today, my mother FINALLY brought me my mail! It had been so long that I had 2 Birchboxes waiting for me :) I'm reeeeaaallllly happy with all the items I received this month so let's just get right into it!

Erin Kathleen Couture/Blakesy & Birddog Fashion Show benefiting The American Heart Association
This Saturday, Austin, myself, and April Franklin, a fellow freelancer, were BEYOND swamped. We started the day out bright and early with a Photo shoot. 7 Models, 1 Hair Stylist, 1 Makeup Artist, 3 Hours. Sounds like it would be more of a nightmare than it actually turned out to be. We hammered em out, got alllllll the girls done (with time to spare,even). Directly after that, we were booked for a Charity Fashion Show for Erin Bleakley's clothing line, Erin Kathleen Couture. The theme was Cape Cod, Bridget Bardot, very easy going, and casual. Like a yacht party or something. Wine, Live Music, 28 Models and all the proceeds went to the American Heart Association. It was a great concept, great clothing, great people. April and I were exhausted when we left but all that we'd accomplished during the day was well worth it!

I just can't get enough of other people's curly hair! It's just so precious. And sure, I have my own curly hair but its not neeeaarly as awesome as theeeese fine heads of curly delight!

Looky What I Found!
From the ages of like 12-19...actually I still do it now.I've always
been one to create lookbooks, mood boards and inspiration folders. I was
going through a box of my stuff...(yes even after moving WELL over a
year ago, I still have boxes to go through)..and found a stack of these
bad boys! I was pretty impressed with myself, I'm glad that thing are
ending up just how they were meant to. It's weird how things just fall
into place like that, how 10 years ago I was just a kid tearing out
beautiful pictures of hair and makeup in magazines, and now, here i am
working my way up to DOING that beautiful hair and makeup in magazines. I
don't know...it just is a lovely thought i guess!
